digital Barlow Archive (dBA)
The dBA is an umbrella organisation for research inspired by or related to the legacy of the composer and theorist Clarence Barlow.
For an introduction, see the web page of Clarence Barlow.
The Archive
As one of its main activities, the dBA organises the digital legacy of Clarence Barlow (1945–2023) in order to make it accessible to the public. The aim is to provide original sources of information for research projects dealing with historical and contemporary developments in digital composition, sound and media art, and related technologies in the context of Clarence Barlow’s work.
The digital holdings are currently being prepared and catalogued for transfer into a long term digital archive.
